NAIL FUNGUS TREATMENT
ClearSense is a treatment for cosmetic improvement of dermatologic conditions including the temporary increase in clear nail for patients with fungal infection in the nail.
Where does the fungal infection in the nail come from and what are the symptoms?
Fungus is everywhere – in the air, the dust and the soil. Infected nails are often lacking in luster, brittle, have yellow streaks, white spots or may separate from the skin.
What can I expect from treatment?
Before treatment: clip and debride toenails and remove any nail polish.
During treatment: we will wipe each nail clean with alcohol to make sure there is no dirt or debris. We will treat the nail with a laser – you may feel a mild to moderate heat sensation.
After treatment – you can resume normal activity immediately, with no downtime. Nail polish can be applied 24 hours after treatment. Use new shoes and was socks thoroughly.
Long term – over the next several months, you will most likely see some degree of continuous growth of clear, healthy nails.
The treatment involves passing the laser beam over the infected nails and surrounding skin until enough energy reaches the nail bed.
